First Byte Micro is now owned and run by three Directors, with a combined total of nearly 80 years experience in the electronic component industry.

Steve Rutter has previously worked in Product Marketing at STC / Arrow Electronics, the specialist IMPULSE division of LEX Electronics where he managed the NEC Franchise and was Managing Director of GLYN - UK since the Company was established in 1989. Steve enjoys cycling and is also an active member of his local tennis club, where he plays regularly. 

Peter Greenslade has held a number of Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Managerial roles with some blue chip names in the industry, including Wayfarer, Maplin Electronics and Polar Electronics. Peter was heavily involved in establishing the Aim and Resource divisions within the Abacus Group, before joining the management team at
GLYN UK in 1998. Away from work, Peter likes to keep fit and regularly works out at the gym as well as running. He also plays badminton in the premier leagues for two Essex clubs.

Joe Grundy started his career with circuit protection manufacturer Littelfuse, held various Sales and Management roles within broadline distributor Radio Resistor, RR Electronics and Online Distribution, then the IMPULSE division of LEX Electronics. After running a freelance Sales Agency in the early 1990's, Joe joined the GLYN - UK management team in 1994. Joe is interested in classic cars and is currently restoring a 1967 Triumph Vitesse convertible, is learning to play the drums and enjoys a pint of real ale.
